Tears, Rainbow Tears, and Eruption

TEARS: This one is going to be short and sweet. I have had the painting posted on Etsy for a while now, but I haven't gotten around to writing a blog about it. This one is a completely abstract painting. The day I painted it I wasn't feeling the most happy. I don't know why I was just really depressed and kept feeling like I needed to cry. Nothing bad had happened I just felt really upset. I decided to paint and hopefully that would make me feel better. I got my stuff together and this is what I made.
You can get this one here.

RAINBOW TEARS: This painting was very messy to do. My Mom named this one and I have no idea how she cam up with Rainbow Tears, but it's cute. This is one of the paintings I talked about not having posted yet in a previous blog about my books. I was really bored one day while I was home alone and decided to paint. I did two paintings that day but the first one was Rainbow Tears.I taped it up on the wall  and fixed some newspaper around the floor to catch the mess. I squirted some paint on the paper and then sprayed the paint with a lot of water. And the final result was so much fun to watch happen.

You can get this one here.

ERUPTION: The second one I did that day is similar. This time I marked off some of the paper with painting tape before I did anything. Then I did the same thing but I did two different color schemes on either side of the tape. One side it green and yellow the other is red and orange. I think the outcome was beautiful.

You can get this one here.

I hope you enjoyed this post and my paintings. Have a great day.

Sexy Sleeping Beauty

"We are all born sexual creatures, thank God, but it's a pity so many people despise and crush this natural gift." Marilyn Monroe

So I have published a new book and have yet to post my two new paintings. If you read my other post about my first short story you know that I a doing a series of erotic fairy tales. Once those are finished I will be doing more erotic stories and possible simple romance and horror. I think I will try a little bit of everything to see what I like the best. I really like the quote I picked because it reminds me a lot of my family. I'm the odd one of my family, well my parents and I are, most of my extended family are Baptists and Conservative. They have the belief that sex does not exist and  you should only have it after you are married and that it's a taboo subject. That you're not suppose to talk about it in mixed company, God forbid you say the word pregnant in front of a man. I think Marilyn hit the nail on the head when she made the comment about sex. I think what's worse is that she probably said this in the '40's or the '50's, yet people like my family are still afraid of sex. I would get a lot of flack for writing these stories if I went around and told everybody what I was writing about. Sex is needed to continue as a species yet people are afraid of it. As I have done with everything that I do; I go against the norm and I don't conform to one mold.
My newest story is about Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty). She has divorced her Prince Charming and moved to sunny California. She has a new boyfriend but he doesn't treat her so well. He drinks a lot and when she doesn't do what he wants he beats her. Then a new guy comes to town and starts working as a waiter at the diner she works at. He is perfect and sweet. Her friend convinces her that she needs to leave her abusive boyfriend and go with the new guy. To find out what else happens and how it ends you will have to read it.
You can get to book here on kindle or in paper back.

As always you can get any of my paintings here.

Don't forget to check out my other book on kindle as well. Have a great day.

My First Book

I haven't posted in awhile, I have been kind of busy lately. I have two new paintings that I need to get framed, and on Etsy, and I have been writing my first short story that is now published. I chose to self publish just to see how well that works for me. Now don't think I am changing what I like doing to writing now; I have been writing longer than I have been painting. It is another art form that I like to express myself through. I have a full length book that I have been working on for awhile now, and have yet to finish. I decided to work on a few short stories that I could get published quickly. My short stories are for a specific demographic because the are likely to offend some.

I decided to reread all of my favorite Grimm's Fairy Tales, and that sparked an idea. A lot of women are into erotic romances right since the release of 50 Shades of Grey. I haven't gotten a chance to read all three books, but I have started the first one, and I do enjoy it. So with that in mind I decided that I would take few to the Grimm's most popular stories and tell what the heroines are doing now. As you can guess these will not be the fairy tales that we all no and love, but they do all have happy endings. (No pun intended)

My series of erotic fairy tales is called Fatefully Ever After. My first book looks at the new life of Rapunzel. Everybody knows how the original ended; the Prince gets thrown out of the tower and blinded by thorns and wonders around until he hears Rapunzel's singing. They then live out their lives happily ever after with their twins, but what is something happened between them. Sadly in my version the Prince has died and Rapunzel flees her home, and lands in the 1970's in Nevada.

She finds herself owning her own brothel that specializes in bondage. She has sworn off men since the Prince died because she feels that there is no other man for her. That is until Nick shows up. Nick is her landlords son and he has come to town to look after is father and his father's buildings. Nick falls instantly for Rapunzel the moment he lays his eyes on her, but she takes a little more persuasion. Rapunzel slowly finds that she is falling for him, but can't seem to let go of the Prince. Rapunzel shares many sexual scenes with her clients in her brothel before she finally is able to five herself to Nick. During her struggles with letting go of the past her best friend Naomi helps her, and she meets a new client that gives $500 tips.

I also drew the cover for my book as well. I got to try out my new found drawing abilities and my watercolor pencils. Those are so much fun to use. Yes they are pretty much just colored pencils, but you can use the while wet or color over the with water to get a more smooth or textured finish.

Once I scanned  it into my computer I did a little bit of editing. Nothing major just made her hair a little bit brighter and did a soft focus around the edge so that Rapunzel really popped out of the picture.

I have, so far, published my book as a ebook on the Kindle marketplace and has a paperback through Createspace. Createspace will also make the paperback available are Kindle, but that will take a couple of days. Here are the links to my book. My ebook is available here and the paperback is available here.

I'm sure you thought you get out of reading about me plugging my paintings as well. Not so fast you can't get that lucky. While you are checking out my new book just walk write over to etsy and take a look at my paintings here.

Just to entice you a little bit. My two paintings that I will post next are called Rainbow Tears and Eruption. They are complete abstract, and were a little messy to make. I might even right a blog post to share some of my earlier drawings and then my drawings after I finished my learning how to draw book. My next erotic fairy tale will follow Sleeping Beauty/Briar Rose journey in finding her true love. I hoped you enjoyed my new post, and please check out my book. Have a great day!
