"We are all born sexual creatures, thank God, but it's a pity so many people despise and crush this natural gift." Marilyn Monroe
So I have published a new book and have yet to post my two new paintings. If you read my other post about my first short story you know that I a doing a series of erotic fairy tales. Once those are finished I will be doing more erotic stories and possible simple romance and horror. I think I will try a little bit of everything to see what I like the best. I really like the quote I picked because it reminds me a lot of my family. I'm the odd one of my family, well my parents and I are, most of my extended family are Baptists and Conservative. They have the belief that sex does not exist and you should only have it after you are married and that it's a taboo subject. That you're not suppose to talk about it in mixed company, God forbid you say the word pregnant in front of a man. I think Marilyn hit the nail on the head when she made the comment about sex. I think what's worse is that she probably said this in the '40's or the '50's, yet people like my family are still afraid of sex. I would get a lot of flack for writing these stories if I went around and told everybody what I was writing about. Sex is needed to continue as a species yet people are afraid of it. As I have done with everything that I do; I go against the norm and I don't conform to one mold.
My newest story is about Briar Rose (Sleeping Beauty). She has divorced her Prince Charming and moved to sunny California. She has a new boyfriend but he doesn't treat her so well. He drinks a lot and when she doesn't do what he wants he beats her. Then a new guy comes to town and starts working as a waiter at the diner she works at. He is perfect and sweet. Her friend convinces her that she needs to leave her abusive boyfriend and go with the new guy. To find out what else happens and how it ends you will have to read it.
You can get to book here on kindle or in paper back.
As always you can get any of my paintings here.
Don't forget to check out my other book on kindle as well. Have a great day.
